I have a BC 11 SP15 with operator workstation before yesterday the keyword fields would always populate from fields in directory manager. Today it won't work I have checked all the keyword settings and the fields are checked to populate. Does anyone have any thoughts on what may be the cause?

What is you DNA version, your MD110 version does not matter to OWS search, let us know what setting you have in OWS config for keywords (and do you have correct column header display in OWS?)

Thanks parnum I was able to get it working after trying several things not sure which actually did it but I reset the equ and resync the system. I have DNA 5.3 by the way.

Thanks again

That's good, but OWS keyword ldb lookup does not use any information from the equ or a sync on the switch or server... so that didn't fix your problem!

Any ideas on what may have caused it then encase i9t should happen again. I have noticed that I have an alarm the last few mornings of the Operator workstation loosing connection in the middle of the night which is unusual could this be connected? As you can tell I am not very familiar with the functionality of OWS.

speech path of OWS uses PBX service and CT adaptor to connect the phone and switch.

when OWS starts RDS updates its local database (ldb) from the server directory manager database (dirdb) and it looks up locally in the ldb for internal entries - this is where the keywords are stored.

sync updates the extension manager database.

These are seperate connections, one to the switch, one to the server, so it's not possible that equ or syncing the EMG database can affect the DMG keyword entries, the keywords are only about DMG and OWS local databases.

The keyword setup is done during dirpop on the server and then on each OWS user logon config, so that's where the problem would lie, but now knowing any more details can't say what would cause your problem exactly,
