Operator - Trunk Appearances 1/2 ring 3

I have trunk line appearance buttons programmed on the operator's phone for 801-805. We like them on the phone to indicate if all of the lines are busy.

However, when someone calls the main number, it rings the operator's phone 1/2 ring before the auto-attendant answers the call.

Is there any way to stop these appearances of the trunks from causing this 1/2 ring?

Favorite all too common vendor responses: "We've never seen this issue before." AND "No one's ever wanted to use it like that before.
 
Change all the trunks on the Operator phone to "delayed" ring. They ring or blurp - because they are set (by default) to immediate ring - and so blurp every time they ring to the autoattendant.
