Does anyone know the feature button and key sequence to disable or enable ringing on a phone when the main attendent or operator recieves a call from the outside? I have looked through the BCM 400 GUI and manual for an option on this and cannot find one. I think I remember this being a FEATURE button then number sequence to turn it on at the remote handset when I last did it in 2005. Thanks in advance for any help. Bill

Sounds like you were using ring groups. You need to change the control set of the lines you want the button to control to the dn that needs to have the button on it. then make sure only the VM DN is in the ring group. Press Feature *3 and press the button you want the key to be programmed to and then press feature 871. Now you have a button and all the receptionist needs to do is press that when she steps away

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

I don't have a clue what your asking.

Do you mean DO NOT DISTURB (DND)?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
