Operator position question

I have a 200El Lw19. I have transparent multi console operation (2 consoles). What the customer would like is a SS4025 instead with DTS keys for their 12 POTS phone lines. and they would like the phones to ring. They would like to be able to put a call on hold and be able to push a flashing line key and retrieve it from the other operator position. Almost like a key system. Can I do this? I don't want LDN keys and I still need to be able to put the system into Night and Night 2 mode.

I think you'll need to allocate a seperate multiline key for each line and allocate an individual trunk service assignment, in there you can control were the call goes DAY, NIGHT1, NIGHT2

The best way I have found doing this is to create 12 multiline key appearances i.e line 1 101, line 2 712 etc line 12 12.

Create a new hunt group E.G 120
put these 12 numbers 101 - 112 into the hunt group

in your trunk service assignment non dial in trunks day, night 1 and night 2 put your hunt group number in as the answer point.

you should be able to put these keys onto other handsets and be-able to pick up a held call from any handset or alternatively use remote hold retrieve normaly *1 followed by the extension number that is holding the call.

I don't think ianuk1974's suggestion will work for dts trunks. Form 14 routing will be ignored and ring to the set.
I think if you enable option 815 in the COS of the trunks to allow forwarding, then the user can choose to answer the phone if at the phone or call forward always if away to a multiline key programmed on whatever group of sets. Or perhaps it could be forwarded to a hunt group of key system numbers and have these numbers programmed on the whatever group of supersets. Just a theory.
