Operator phone rings once before the Automated Attendant picks up. Any ideas why this would be happening?
007MLM
Merlin Legend R7 V12

Also if I dial 0 from any phone I get a fast busy. It doesn't go to the operator ext. 10.
Any idea why this might be happening?

Set the phone to delayed ring instead of immediate ring. The calls are ringing simultaneously at the phone and the 007MLM. With delayed ring (instead of no ring) you will be alerted if all ports of the 007MLM are busy and can't take another incoming call.

Dialing 0 rings the phone connected to the first logical station ID, so perhaps that is not your "operator" extension, and there is NO phone connected to logical id 01?

Thanks I'll have to give the delayed ring a try.

I'm almost positive that the operators phone is on card 1 port 1.

I was looking through SPM and didn't find anywhere to change it to delayed ring.
I did look at the programming guide and saw that "Feature *36" will set it to delayed but when I put it on my phone it didn't seem to change anything.

Go to Extension 10...Dial Feature 00, the phone will do the programming tone(dee, doo)..use your imagination on the sound effects. Press any line button...dial either *36 for the individual line or *346 for all the line.

*35 no ring
*36 Delay ring
*37 Immidate ring
