on a 3300 mcd 4.1 what is the best way to set up the dial 0 for different extensions in day / night mode. i thought about setting up a speed call to a phantom dn. any thoughts?
Not sure what you want the system to do with the dial "0" calls but you can set it up in the Call Reroute tables for Day, N1 & N2 to different locations.
ok i set it up as a speed call to a dn. when i call a number that does not have a mailbox my day greeting comes on, when i press 0 there is a somewhat of a delay, it only rings my operator key once then goes to the operator mailbox. is there any way to get more rings out of it? also how does it determne where the operator mailbox is. i have not configured anything in the 0 mailbox, yet it lights the lamp on the set i want it to. i also have 0 programmed on another set.
Nope - These would conflict only one appearance of a single digit zero can appear in the system.
"when i press 0 there is a somewhat of a delay" -
Again this is probably due to a conflict but this time the conflicting DN is a multidigit number starting with zero. If you want zero to dial immediately then it must be the only dn that starts with zero

This is the first I've heard of transfers being the issue. It is really important to be clear in your communications. I(we) can only go with what you say, not what you meant to say.
Rant over: Glad you got it sorted out.
