Hi,

I have two Operator console, the problem is when phoning the principal console and this console is turned off (not night service),the result of call is "operator is absent".

Why the call doesn't jump to the second operator console?
How I can make it so that it jumps to the second console?
How I can make it to put in night service the principal console?

Best regard.

daddy is right,
I would hazzord a guess that the OPCGP is not set up
as an example (from memory)

55
00
00
12
corg --
1 11
2 12
3 01

In this example, there are 3 corg's or call orgin groups.
1, 2 & 3 (this is how the calls come into the operators_

0 means no-calls handled
1 firstb choice
2 second choice

the opertors are 5001 and 5002

so corg (route 1) calls are handled evenly betweeen both operators.
corg 2 (route 2) 5001 takes calls and as second choice 5002 then takes calls
and corg 3 (route 3) only operator 5002 takes calls.

the word "route" doesnt refer to a route number, but as a generic term for incoming call, either internal or external

and 5002 will handle corg 1

I see what you mean,

you want to call 28500 and if it absent go to 38300 right?

a common mistake when programming ops is to give ops the DID number.

very simple solution : make all ops internal (like 101 and 102, people should never call these numbers) and make did numbers also common number
