We are having issues with our receptionist/operator consoles ever since a global policy was turned on so users could NOT be local admins on there machines.

Do the operator/receptionists need to be signed on as a local admin on their machine for the console software to come up and work?

The network guys already said they weren't going to allow them to be admins on the network just so this software would work.

Does anyone have ant suggestions?

no you don't need to be a local admin to run the program. Just to install it. If you are having issues, unistall it and reinstall it with the local admin credentials.
Then the user should be able to log in and use it with no isssues.
