Hi,
One of our customer upgraded their switch to BC12SP1.
After upgrading they have a problem with their operator console. Sometimes the console doesn't ring, just shows calling number on display so they understand there is a new call.
It's not a good situation for them. The product No. of the OPI console is " 1/DGF 220 01/4 R6A ".

Is there any idea what to do?

Rgrds.

Can you print out OPDDP:DIR=ALL; and OPCAP:DIR=ALL; and show the results here.

Do all the other functions on the OPS console work? Is there only 1 ops console? Does it even attempt to make a sound?

There is a correction for this. Ask your local /// vendor to deliver the patch. Or u can upgrade the switch to e.g. SP4 or higher. Maybe the latest (SP8) ????

a servicepack upgrade is really recommended here [spin]

I agree with whosdaddy - upgrade to sp 8 !

Seen the same problem in BC11SP10 systems...
Could someone explain whats wrong and how i fix it.
When it happens OPTSP; says that the number is "Busy" and "Absent" like its a call stuck on it.
Tried RFPUI:UNIT=DOM/DOR is that the best way to go around it ???
Any more solutions ?

restarting OLP1T&DOR normally helps

We have BC12SP6 and the same problem on several OWS's on different places and different times. So the problems seemed not related to one another. Is there a solution other than upgrading to SP8?

Thnx i.a.

check TMU and UNIT=MPP.

erase OPI and init again OPI normally get new TMU channels
