Hello!

I am trying to auto extend calls from a swbrd to a CTI group used by Solidus.
When the operator attempts to auto extend they get busy and have to wait for this to clear before extending the call.
This worked prior to CTI(Solidus) ie: ACD grps were used.
Transfer before answer is set on the switch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Rgds,
SAF!!

internal calls are set to que in CTI group setting on switch? you get busy then try again, or manual transer works ok and not auto?

Yes - internal calls to group set to queue on SEL.

Even when you dial from the swbrd you get busy, then it becomes free, you can transfer the call.
I have tried from a digital extn also. I get call queued, 8333 (ip media port) then tone sender on then call queued, then the the agent answers.
It looks like you cannot transfer the call whilst it trying to use media port to play a msg??

have you run etpapitool to see what happens in NRM when call is made, this will tell you NRM resource allocation for IMPS.

Parnum, I'll give this a try...thanks!

Hi´ have you try fast extending - EXTEND=E or F ?

This is news to me, what is the procedure from the ops console?

You say though you get the problem just when you dial not just transfer? have you set VMGEI on you IMPS ports on the switch? Also what version of Solidus and SP/Hotfix?
