Hi,

When trying to run the OHV in live mode I get the following message:

An error occured setting up live mode viewing on the tracing system. (80010104) RPC could not call the server or could not return the results of the calling server.

I am seeing this being logged in the Application event log as well:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: gv_tserver
Event Category: OH Collector
Event ID: 1269
Date: 6/30/2008
Time: 3:08:39 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: VDNMAS
Description:
An error occurred accessing the Operation History database. Error: "Invalid argument.
", Details: "State:S1093,Native:-1003,Origin:[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]
". Please contact your Avaya Modular Messaging Software support representative to repair the database.

It looks like a database issue.?

We are running an MSS\MAS 3.0 system with SP7. And OHV was working fine at one time. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

Thanks

How many MAS's are on the system ? If one i assume the trace is running on the MAS1?

The database is probably corrupt so you will need to replace the OpHist.MDB file with the blank one from the DVD.

Or have your business partner do it.

That worked.

Thanks Ken!!
