Operation not supported on BLOB Fields

I am trying to query a MS Access database in Paradox 9. I have set up the
ODBC conection to the access database and this seems to work fine, but
when the query is run an error message shows "Operation is not supported on BLOB Fields" Can anyone help please.

Paradox .bd tables may have an associated BLOB or .mb file which contains the binary unformatted data along with the .px index file

Binary Large Objects are a supported data type in Paradox, not supported in Access, in my limited use of them they have been long ASCII strings representing Audiogram results

I think we need a few more details, please:

1. Which versions of Paradox, Access, and MDAC?
2. What are the Access field types you're woirking with in your query?
3. What's your query?

That should give us enough to hazard a proper guess.
