Hi all,

One of our users received a spam e-mail today. THe standard practice is to forward this type of e-mail to an address within the company so that appropiate action can be taken to stop it. On this occasion, when trying to forward the message, Outlook throws up a box saying "operation failed". Sending of all other e-mail is fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

probably a piece of scripting within the email (is it HTML) so that you can do this...just send a new mail to the internal address with the spammers address in the subject or something...and let them take it from there... Jay~

Sorry.....

when you try to send the mail...can you actually get the forward mail to create, and then fails on send, or can you not even press Forward sucessfully..??
If you can get it to forward, but fail on send, try changing the mail to Plain Text and then try and send (if its not already in Plain Text that is!!) To change it go to Format, and click on Plain Text while in the email. Jay~
