I'm a beginner in assembly code, and I'm looking for a small and simple code for a 8086 Kernel. I've searched Internet, but I've found too big systems. Someone could help me?

If you can get a hold of the book named "Programming Solutions - Handbook for IBM Micro-computers" by Julio Sanchez and Maria Canton, it contains a complete section (section 3.1) dedicated to developing a very simple operating system.  The book includes all of the source code and provides a very clear explanation.
