Greetings,
Having fixed my problem with my CSS buttons (forgetting the display: block tag), I have since moved onto fixing some other problems with browsers.
I have basically got everything working except for one problem in Opera.
My front page (after logging in) has two DIVs absolutely positioned as two columns so as to provide an information portal for members.
In IE, Netscape and Mozilla, the page shows fine with correct positioning and not difference. However, Opera acts strange. Initially, the left hand column has crashed into the right hand column and is overlapping as a single column.
HOWEVER, after hitting Opera's Author mode option (toggling it on then off), the page layout rectifies itself and looks perfect.
Given my limited experience with Opera, can anybody shed some light on what is happening? I need some pointers, because even though my membership base using Opera is small, I really don't want to force them into another browser because they get sick of the hack above.
Cheers,
OzWolf
