Hi, This is my first swing at Openworx. I am trying to set up BAS Server. I have loaded the Server with Win2K Server and installed Openworx. The administration through the Web Browser is extremly slow. I have formatted and reloaded 3 times as I thought I may have screed up the install. But this time I am sure everything went as described in the manual. I have done all Windows updates, but with no luck. Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

What processor speed are you pushing? The minimum is 933 MHz and the max/recommended is 1.36 GHz. Also what kind of RAM are you pushing? The recommended is 1 GB. Look at your java plug-in and make sure it is latest/greatest. Also look at all the running processes, but the format should have cleaned bogus material out. Other than that don't really know what the deal is.

Hi,
We are running a XEON Dual Processor with 512k RAM
I will increase RAM to 1 Gig. You had mentioned the latest JAVA plugin. We tried loading that, but it does not seem to like the Plugin.

Thanks,
Chris

Forgot that the OpenWorX is kind of tricky with the Java applet, it only likes Jave 2 Runtime Enviroment V 1.3.1. Hope that the RAM will kick the server in the butt and wake it up, other than that I am clueless.

Thanks jhenke,
It sounds like you have some experience with Openworx.

Can a user using BAS park calls? (The same as TDM Sets)
We are under the impression the the BAS attendant can park calls but to orbit virtuals.

Thanks,
Chris A

I have played a little with BAS and OpenWorX. The BAS user can park calls to a global orbit number which are virtual numbers. Seems like you have a good feel for the BAS as well.
