OPENSTAGE HFA 20 GENERAL ERROR

Hi folks,

I have been checking an error code from our OPENSTAGE 20 HFA which is H02 LP2. According to the user´s manual, H02 is a general error but that doesn´t tell me anything and LP2 doesn´t appear in manual.

Does anyone know what could be causing this errors ?

Any advice please....

Does the phone connect, make and receive calls, etc, or is it non-functional when the error comes up?

If it is non-functional, were there any other messages on the screen that would show the phone was coming online or self-test or anything like that?

Yes. The phone works, but the error appears randomly. This problem is not continuous, at the time I was reported it was the 2nd time this user tell me about it.

Can the user keep track of what they were doing when the error appeared so we can try to determine a trend? Phone idle, in a call, logged in to ACD or not, phone was ringing, call was on hold, transferring call - or some other thing I didn't think of.

Keeping track of this when it happens will allow you to say something like "Every time we do <this> we get that error message" and that will give a better idea of what might be happening - like maybe there is a newer firmware version out that addresses your issue, etc...

One thing to try is to test the cables back to the system using a CAT5 tester or similar.
If any cables look suspect replace them anyway.

The phone was steady. The user was at lunch and she reported the error when we came back.

We are using release OS_20_HFA_V2_R0_57_0.

Ok I´ll try changing this phone with an OPTIPOINT 410.
