Hi All,

We have decommissioned half of our Openstage 60 devices in a recent office move. Some of our staff have asked if they can take some units home to use with 3rd party residential VOIP providers like sipgate, Voipfone etc .
Has anyone set up a Openstage device with one of these providers or knows how "easy" it maybe to do so ? The staff are not very technical and thus we expect lots of help requests. This is primarily why we would like to evaluate the potentials caveats before we go ahead and let the phones go.

Best,

Nick

Yes they would work if they are SIP.
If they use a router like a Fritz Box which provides SIP extensions they just have to setup the username/password, possible change the extension number.
Not for anyone who is 'technically challenged' but it can be done.
