Openstage 15 HFA firmware problem 2

Hey!

We have on our phones HFA_V2_R1_5_2.img firmware and system is hipath 3000 v7.0. We bought new phones which have openscape system. We wanna get firmware from our working phones and put on the new ones. How could we do that? Anyone can give direct link for the mentioned firmware?

May I ask why you want to use such and old version ?
The latest version is V3 R0.48.0

This is the version we have on other phones. I dont really know much about the system, we used to rent the system and we bought it last year n got no instruction at all. And we have to program the new phones to work with our system :/

Be aware a phone originally sold on HFA V3 will not downgrade to V2.

You should just use the latest unless there is a problem.

New phones says they have the system type: openscape businness, I wanna upgrade their firmware so it works with our hipath system (current phones says system type is hipath 3000 v7.0)

I would not expect that to matter. What you are proposing would be a downgrade not upgrade. The key thing is does the phone work without error - if so, no problem. On a 4K for example, phones with new firmware will register and logon to really old 4Ks, v1 v2 v3 etc, but they won’t name them properly. It doesn’t matter.

I upgraded to the newest firmware, but still says system type openscape businnes and not hipath 3000. How can I change that? Also I set the number to be 152 but on the web it says 200.
The system language is german, how can I change it to english?

Update: after performing factory reset language problem is kind of solved (its now english, though other phones are hungarian). System type now says unknown. Its programmed exactly like our working phones, except for phone IP, subscriber number and terminal number. How can we recognize the phone on our hipath system? We use hipath 3000 manager C to access settings n stuffs.

Another update: now new phone is starting up nicely, language is hungarian BUT we cant call that phone (the phone shows HV2 error for 2-3 seconds when being called) and we cant call from that phone (not even our 3 digit inner numbers). What could be the problem? The hipath manager now recognizes the new phone with the new firmware.
In maintenance LLDP-MED TLVs the phone says "Not active" in both sent and received.
I Hope this is the last problem and you can help.

Configuring a monitor session on the data switch and taking a wireshark trace can remove the guesswork in these situations.

You can't change the type.
Just easier to upgrade the Hipath to V9

Likely as well that your going to run into problems with hardware versions not just firmware.

Most newer HW versions won't work on the Hipath.

Firmware version of new phones: v3r0.28.0 hw version:s30817-s7401-d703-015 and s30817-s7401-a503-014 (old ones have hw version d503)
Our system: HiPath 3000 v7.0
I suppose its not free to upgrade to 9.0?

Its only a cost if you have a HG1500 card with IP users or SIP.
