Openstage 15/40s HFA

Hello,

Has anyone had an issue with Openstage 15s and 40s that used to work but don't power up anymore?
I've had a lot of 15s and a couple of 40s stop working. They won't power up anymore with our Cisco switches. I can get them to power up with a POE injector. Once they are up and running, I can unplug them and plug into a Cisco switch right away and it will power up. Now if the phone is unplugged for more than a few minutes the Cisco switch will not power them. I've also tried them on a Brocade switch that we haven't tossed yet and the phones will power right up.
Anyone know what the fix might be?

I have a phone at one of my sites that according to the IT tech who touched it "only had a blue screen that said it was booting" (which is interesting because the 40's don't have color screens and I think I only have one 60 at that site and it is for the site manager), and then he unplugged it and after that it wouldn't even power up. They haven't bothered to put in a ticket for it so someday I might remember to drive over there and do it, but I haven't seen it yet.

My first order of business in the case I can't get it to power up is to whip out DERT and re-flash it just to see if that makes a difference. Some of the newer firmware releases have made changes to the power profiles, but there are recommendations for minimum hardware versions that work with the new firmware (which I generally ignore). I'm wondering if in my case I pushed out a firmware update to an old phone or something and that is causing a problem. Might be something to experiment with.
