I have installed openSSL and C-kermit on an AIX box.
I have created our CA. and installed some required certificates. I am recieving the following error on attempt to connect to IBM IE services.

Warning:
self signed certificate in certificate chain

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The warning is correct.

You have produced certificates that you signed (by being your own certificate authority), and so the browser will flag these as being "suspect". If you want the warning to go away, get a root (to you) certificate from Thawte or Verisign that you would then use to sign your certificates. Since the browser already knows about Thawte and Verisign, it'll accept them as being from a trusted source.

I ended up getting a CA from C-Kermit authors.
I am using it with C-Kermit and it comes with a CA in the windows edition, but not with the unix edition.

Used the one from the windows edition, and it now works fine.

Thanks for the help though.
