I'm trying to install openserver 6.0 on a locally assembled ACPI Multiprocessor PC with an intel core 2 dou e4400 @ 2 ghx and a WD8000JD SATA HD. Imediatly after the startup screen I get "PANIC: kernel-mode address fault on kernel address 0xf000ff53". I get this message even if the drive is disconnected, or I connect and older IDE drive. All other peripherals are disconnected. An internet search shows one match on this message and the reply suggests "Changing the BIOS TO PNP from Disabled and using DSM=atup" my bios has no option on PNP and I don't know what "using DSM=atup" means. I'm guessing a boot option?

Did you check the approved hardware section in SCO website? Your mother board may not be compatible, SCO UNIX can be picky about which hardware it will work with.

I know is not much help but...
