Hello,

I have a customer with an OpenScape4000 V7, and I installed a XMU+ from Interalia to serve as a basic Auto Attendant (play a message and then transfer to operator).
I configured the 8 analog extensions and connected them to the XMU+, however when I call the extensions all I hear is ringtone without the XMU+ answering it.

Is there any parameter on the XMU+ or on the OS4000 that I need to change? I followed the tutorials and documentation from Interalia website.

Thanks in advance!

REG the SCSU extensions that you are connecting to the XMU and paste here

Hi sbcsu...

here it it:

ADD-SCSU:80701,1-20-2-0,ANATE,0,0,20,10,7,2,7,2,,0,0,0,0,,,DTMF,,,,PORTUG,YES,,NO,,,,0,DIR,YES,NO,0,;

I have another 7 extensions that are configured differently (to test):
ADD-SCSU:80702,1-20-2-1,ANATE,0,0,20,10,7,2,7,2,,0,0,0,0,,SUFDIAL,VAR,DTMFST,,,PORTUG,YES,,NO,,,,0,DIR,YES,NO,0,;

Here is one that works for me, give it a try and let me know

ADD-SCSU:STNO=80710,PEN=1-20-2-0,DVCFIG=ANATE,DPLN=0,ITR=0,COS1=6,COS2=1,LCOSV1=6,LCOSV2=1,LCOSD1=1,LCOSD2=1,COSX=0,SPDI=0,COFIDX=0,SPEC=SSTN&SUFDIAL,DIAL=DTMF,DHPAR=DTMFST,TEXTSEL=PORTUG,INS=YES,SSTNO=NO,HMUSIC=0,CONN=DIR,FLASH=YES,DTMFBLK=NO,PMIDX=0;

Hi sbcsu,

Sorry for the late reply, I tried with your configuration but the problem is there also.

I made some new tests, I connected an analog phone to the PEN and I can make calls but when I receive I don't hear any ring tone. I mean I call the phone, I don't hear the phone ringing but if I pick up the phone I can hear the other person.
Do you know what might be the problem? I installed a new Q2246 card but the problem persists.
The system is an OpenScape 4000 V7. Do I need any ring generator or something like that?

I'm going to do more tests in the afternoon, by configuring the extensions on a working analog card and shelf, the one I'm using at the moment is a new card on a shelf that hadn't any SLMA24 cards.

Ok... The problem was the ring generator... There was none installed on that LTU.
I installed one and the xmu started answering the calls.

However I have another problem now... In the script I created on the xmu, the caller hears a message and then is transfered to an extension. When I tested on an Hipath 3500 it worked perfectly, but on the OpenScape 4000 the call drops instead of transferring... Do you know what should I change to make the transfers work? On the xmu or on SCSU?

Thanks

Put an analog phone in place of the XMU and try again using 4K

Hi sbcsu,

I performed the test with an analog phone and it worked perfectly. I can see in the logs, when the "R" key is pressed, that "flash" is pressed, and the dial tone appears to make the transfer.

However when I use the XMU+, the "flash" doesn't appear, so it doesn't have dial tone to make the transfer.

In the XMU+ I had to configure the STYLE TRANSFER, maybe I need to change something there, the dial string to transfer at the moment is configured with an "!" (exclamation point). I don't know if I need to change it, but I don't see nothing on the documentation regarding this.

Are you familiar with XMU+ from Interalia? And the integration with OS4K?

Thanks in advance!

Hi sbcsu,

Everything is now working. I had to adjust the hookflash timer on XMU+ side. Now it works with 150ms, and the dial string "!,,".

Thank you for your help.

I just have another question that has nothing to do with this...are there any Visio Stencils for the new ECOSERVERs? I had the stencils for the CPCI, but I can't find the stencils for ECOSERVERs...can you share those with me please?

Thanks...

Good that you got it sorted out.
I can make an area on Tonido for Visio Stencils if you would like to upload some ?
Unfortunately I do not have any for the EcoServers

Hi sbcsu,

I found the stencils on the papagaiosystems website, in downloads for siemens.

Can you help me with something else?

This XMU+ replaced an old IVR solution that was connected through an E1 trunk. The script was basically the same, caller hears prompt, and then is transferred to operator (ATNDDID). However, now with XMU+, since it comes from analog extensions, I can't transfer the call to the same VFGKZ that was before.
The problem is that in the previous solution, the call comes from outside, and transfers to operator ACWIN (12345) to the QUEUE1 (external calls). In the new solution, the XMU+ can't transfer to 12345, so I had to transfer to 56789, but the operator sees the call on another QUEUE for internal calls.

Here is the config:
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,12345,,6,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,12345,,10,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,12345,,11,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,12345,,12,0;
(...)
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,56789,,5,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,56789,,8,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,56789,,9,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,56789,,10,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,56789,,11,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,56789,,12,0;
ADD-VFGKZ:ATNDGR,56789,,22,0;

I created a FLOAT extension so that I can make the transfer:
ADD-SCSU:11111,,ANATE&FAX,0,0,22,10,5,2,5,2,0,0,1,0,,,SSTN&SUFDIAL,VAR,DTMFST,,,PORTUG,FLOAT,,NO,,,,0,,YES,NO,0,;
ADD-ACTDA:STN,49910,FWD,STATIONV,CFU,INT,VCE,12345;

here is the WABE also:
ADD-WABE:11111,,6,STN,N,,,,,,,,;

the extensions from XMU+ are configured like this:
ADD-SCSU:80706,1-20-2-5,ANATE,0,0,20,10,7,2,7,2,,0,0,0,0,,SSTN&SUFDIAL,VAR,DTMFST,,,PORTUG,YES,,NO,,,,0,DIR,YES,NO,0,;

I tried putting in WABE the CPS 6, but with no luck.

Is there any way that I can transfer the call to 12345? The operator is working, and is more of a cosmetic issue but if you have a solution that would be nice! That way the operator could distinguish the calls that come from outside from the internal ones.

Thank you very much!!

You can put a T1/E1 card in the XMU - I have both that and Analog ports. I use the T1 lines for OSCC integration, and the analog ports for backup recordings for the generic ACD routing.

Hi donb01,

Actually I already thought about that, but Interalia doesn't sell T1/E1 cards for XMU+.

So if there's any solution for my problem, with the hardware I have atm, that would be nice.

According to the propaganda sheet the small chassis can take up to 30 ports of E1 and the large up to 60. I would have to look at mine to see how it's configured - I think I have used E1 cards before and only set up 23 ports, but I can't remember.

Anyway, here's a link to where I read it....

I have a support contract on my XMU (not sure if it is a + or not) so if you need anything strange I might be able to get it or ask.

Thank you very much donb01,

I will have a look at the documentation.

However, do you know any way on the OS4K side to allow me to transfer the call to the ACWin group (12345 - ATNDDID)? and not the 56789 - ATND?
