Openscape 4000 V8 software subscriber

We have an Openscape 4000 V8 system. We use IP telephony.
There is a desire to connect software subscribers to OS4K. These subscribers also need group call functionality.
What would be the best solution? what to use client software? Also wondering how such subscribers are described in OS4K, are additional OS4K and DLS licenses required?
Interested in different solutions than ACWin IP.
