OPENQUERY Question

We are running SQL 7.0 and ASE ver. 11.9.2 using ASE ODBC Driver 3.7. The
issue we are finding is that when using OPENQUERY and the query is
cancelled, the query hangs. To correct this, we are having to reboot the
server. We are looking for suggestions for driver updates or any other
insights. Thank you.

I am facing similar problems with linkedserevr into DB2 database. I posted many messages on the communities.microsoft.com but real answers....
But i can only suggest to you to Restart SQL server instead of the machine OS...This works with us verry well..
