Opening XML in Excel 2000???

Is it possible to open an XMLPersisted ADO Recordset in Excel 2000 in the same manner as in ExcelXP.

In ExcelXP its very easy, file/open and away you go, but this does not seem possible in E2000, is there another that i'm missing.
