Opening Word/Excel links in Application windows

Hi:

I'm working on an Intranet website, in which I have links to Word & Excel documents. I want these links to open in MS Word/Excel Windows, and not in IE5 Browser Windows. Is this possible? Also, how can I specify the size of the window, when I have Hyperlinks opening in new windows?

Make your link like this:

a href="

http://www.myintranet.com/mydocument.doc"

This will open in MS word. If you find that it is opening in the browser then that is a machine specific issue because they have associated the file type .doc with the browser.
