Opening Remote Database

I am using Act 2007 v9.0 and am trying to set up a remote database, I am creating RDB file onto a portable hard drive and copying it to remote PC, i then restore it the RDB file sucessfully, however I cannot then open it as it says the username or password are incorrect. As I understand the usernames and passwords are no case sensitive. Have tried changing original username and password gone through the whole thing again still says the username or password are incorrect can anybody assist many thanks

Have you tried logging in as an Admin or as the remote user?
