Progression 7.6.3 Microsoft SQL

We are trying to close the Year End in G/L and getting the error opening procedure failed. I had rebooted the server after getting that error on the temporary close and we were able to temporary close. Now a few days later, we are getting the same error. Can you tell me what causes the error? I have rebuilt the files to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

We have found that ALL users, except the one doing the close, need to be logged out of Macola. The year end close takes very little time, so the downtime is not that significant.

We have followed this for the last couple of years, and just yesterday did our year end close this way.

It worked thanks! I don't remember ever having to do that before (and we have been on Macola since 1988!)Maybe it is just that once a year amnesia.

Yes, I also swear that we did not have to do that in prior versions....Like I said it has only been the last couple of years that we have had to do this!
