I just installed an offbrand broadband router (addtron technology - adr-e200p). Everything works fine, I can browse the net from both puters with no problem. I also play a game called Asherons Call. My problem is when i try too connect it disconnects me. It was working fine before I installed router. After reading their FAQ, I discovered that microsoft does not support the game behind fire walls or proxies. They recommend logging in with this IP addresses- 207.46.204.* port 9000. I looked over their site and did not find what the (*) meant. tried logging on and nothing happened. 2 questions, what the heck does (*) it mean, and how do i open port 9000. I looked on the web for opening ports but all i got was detailed text. Hmmm, guess i need pictures. Thanks for any info on the subject.
