I have an Access Database which creates links to PDF files on a network server. When someone clicks on this link in MS Access it locates the PDF file and opens it in Adobe Acrobat. This works great with Acrobat 5.0 and 6.0, but there is some kind of security block going on with Acrobat 7.0 which causes the document not to open. If I copy the link or path and paste it into either Windows Explorer address bar or IE address bar, the pdf file opens just fine.

Does anyone know of a way to change security settings in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 so that files can be opened that Acrobat thinks might not be secure or safe (but are)?

Thanks for any suggestions ... Erik
