Is there a plug-in for opening InDesign PC files in the Mac version of Indesign. I am running InDesign 2.0 and have a PC Indesign doc that I need to open. Is there such a thing or way around it?

Opening Indesign 2.0 PC files in Mac version

You should have no trouble opening the document unless it is created with a newer version of InDesign that you do not have. The INDD format is interchangeable between platforms as long as it is the same version or older (1, 1.5, 2, CS).

The only thing I can think of that may be a problem is fonts. If you use OpenType fonts on the PC and the Mac is running OS X, you should be able to supply/install them, too. I was able to install some PC TrueType fonts on my Mac, but they didn't print reliably. But I can definately open PC files on the Mac, and vice versa nowadays.
