HELP! I haven't worked with MS Access in a very long time, and am getting stuck on the most simple problem.

I have a form which is tied to a table. When the form opens, it populates the fields with the first records data. Since I have a combo box [cboPrimaryCustomerName] which searches for the appropriate record, I want the fields to be empty until a Customer is selected.

Can you please help me with the coding of this? Thanks in advance for your help!

One option... Remove the record source from the form. Reapply it only after the user has made there first selection from the combobox. As long as your combo bix does not have a control source this will work fine.

Good Luck
