Opening Excel files from within Word--Thanks 1

I am a technical user, not a programmer. Yet I find myself having to automate tasks that I do often. To that end, I recently needed to open an Excel Workbook based upon a Yes/No question. I was stumped until I Google my question and landed on this website/forum.

I just want to give a shout out to you guys! You helped without even knowing I had a question. THANK YOU!
