About half or more of the time, when I click to open a document in any of our Sharepoint document libraries, I get this message from IE: "File Download - Security Warning: Do you want to open or save this file? Name: wbk***.tmp, Type: Unknown File Type, From: mhtml:
("***" are random numbers.)

Most times, if I go back to the document listing and refresh the page, then click on the document link again, the document opens properly. All docs are .mht's created in Word 2003 or from within Sharepoint. IE version is 6. Server is SBS2003 SP1. This happens on any computer, anywhere, that accesses the Sharepoint doc libraries.

Normally I can figure these things out using Google and a lot of persistence, but this time I've been unable to find a single post from anyone, anywhere, ever, with this same problem.
