I have an Access DB that was developed Access 2000 on a 98 OS with some Marcos and modules that appear to key to the operation of the DB.

My problem is when I copied the DB over to another PC (win 2000) and I could not open it. I got around that problem.

So I checked to see if all of my references were copied over and I was missing a COMMDLG.DLL, which has been added.

After looking into the C:\windows\systems Folder on the 98 machine where the original database was stored: I see that there are some OCA and OCX files loaded as well as some other that are not on the new workstation. It looks like ComCt32.ocx, msComctl.ocx, or mscomct2.ocx and several others. I think this my problem.

Is there a download for the files or way to get them onto the new PC? I have tried creating a new form and adding the Active X controls but the ways this database is set-up it looks like I need some Visual Basic skills.

Has Office 2000 (or at least Access 2000) been installed on the Win2K computer? If not, do this first.
