Opening attachments with extensions 2

Example: I receive an E-Mail with an attachment whose extension is cdr.When i try to open it , i receive a message saying that there is no program associated with opening this file.Double click on my computer and foler options, file types and create an association for this file.Have done and still wont work.Can anybody be so kind as to go through how you can do this as i get Afew ext. that wont open

What kind of file were you expecting this to be? CDR extension is used by several different applications. File extensions are not always restricted to just one application in some cases. joegz

.cdr files are Corel Vector Graphics Files

Should give you a starting point. What other extension are you having trouble with? *Remember.......
