Opening attachment with Word 2

I have lost the function of opening an attachment created with MS Word. I did have the availability of clicking the word attachment and Word would open it.

If you mean that word docs are no longer recognised as such, you need to re-register word. Simplest way to fix is to run
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Winword.exe" /unregserver
then
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Winword.exe" /regserver
(assuming default installation directory)

If you go into your Groupwise Client setting you can chooose to re-enable that option:

Here are the instructions
TOOL>OPTIONS>ENVIRONMENT>Click the radio button next to open attachments

that Disables that freaky GroupWise Viewer Thing need any further help feel free to email me
