Opening Attachment in Outlook

I'm me to Outlook, and when I recieve emails with attachments, apparently due to the fact that the message had been forwarded several times, I have to open the attachment many times before I 'really' open it, ie, I double-click on the attachment, and a blank messege pops up, with the attachment at the bottom, I double-click that, and another blank message, etc. This has gone on as much as 7 messages deep. I can open the exact same message in, say Lotus Notes or Netscape, and the attachment opens the first time. What's up with this? Thanks...<br>

I don't think there is anything you're able to do about this other than to ask the sender not to attach their forwarded message as an attachment. They can change their settings in Tools/Options/E-mail Options, then at the bottom in the On replies & forwards section, select a more desirable option, rather than Attach original message. <br>
