Opening all word docs in browser

I would like to open all word documents in IE (10) on a windows 8 machine.

I have set all file association with word to be opened in IE but it normally just opens the file in word regardless

I am running ms office 2013

I have seen so many issues which is the reverse of my problem but not one try and only open word docs in the IE

Hi,

In order to open MS Word in IE, click on Save> Save as Type> Web Page.

This should open the MS Word file in IE.

Just curious: why do you want to open word docs in IE?

Do you want IE to open word and then to open the doc? IE is just a browser: it does not understand word formats.
