Opening Act 2005 DB Error: object reference not set to an instance of

Hi there,

I am having an issue with a pc when trying to open any Act database it give me an error: “object reference not set to an instance of an object.”.

The PC is a Win2K SP4, IE6.

I tried to do a clean re-install by uninstalling and deleting all act associated files that I could find and from the registry and it did not help.

Sometimes when trying to open a DB it will give me the following error: “could not access the specified database”, but most of the time it will give me the error about the object reference.

I would appreciate anyone’s ideas and help very much!
