Im getting the following message when i try to open accpac version 5.4A running on pvsw 9.0.
System error.Cannot Access the application table in the system or company database.
Anyone on how to go about this? Am in a fix.Quick response would be so much appreciated.

Accpac 5.4 requires Pervasive 9.5, install SP2 for Pervasive 9.

It has been working well. I have rebooted the server and
It's actually on Pervasive 9.5, SP2

You have some serious problems. Run Dbspy as you login, you might see some other messages.

Am not quite sure on how to run Dbspy how do i run it and how will it assist?

Start/Programs/Accpac/Tools/Dbspy. It shows the database calls that Accpac makes.

If i run the Dbspy i get something like this
mapping 94 in class 5
btrv-GetHandleinfo-returningInvalid Handle
110< DBS-Invalid Handle
BrvDDclose[hdict=1]
Unlink.
I cant seem to get the Dbspy message on notepad but i hope what i have got helps

Yeah, you're a mess, all right, I hope you have a good backup. First try recreating the ODBC DSN's.

I have a backup.I have recreated the ODBC DSN but if i try loading the data here is the error iam getting Unable to connect to the database,error=45059.

45059 is a very unusual message. I would delete and recreate your databases in Accpac database setup.

Something strange has happened to your installation, there must be something you haven't told us, like a hard drive that filled up, or a virus infection, or a new program that was installed.

Thanks a lot actually i rebooted the server and at some point it said one of the disks had errors.
Apparently in the drive accpac was installed all files were corrupt so i moved the shared data folder recreated the ODBC and Accpac database set up and now its working perfectly.
Looks like a virus infection.
Thanks tuba2007.For this you get a star.
