Hello I'm a beginning programmer. I want to know how to run/execute a program, like the (MS)internet explorer, with a Tcl procedure.

It should be possible but I can't figure out how to do it. Can somebody help me with this?

the Tcl function, exec, runs programs externally to the Tcl shell. Is that what you mean?

Yes it was, I also found out how to work it. I've tried it before but I didn't convert the \ in to a /. I've just copied the path from the properties screen.

Either way, thanks for your reply!
