Using Access 2000, when I click to open a database in Access, I want to have the form load first, open and have it populated with data I created in a table. I thought I simply would go into properties in the form and do a docmd.maximize to maximize the form and onload, do a docmd.open. It does not work thought. Any thoughts here?

in the access menubar go to tools->startup ...
in the "display form/page" combobox select your form.
this will open your form on startup of the DB.
