Can this be done? I can open/view the CR6 reports in CR8 and save them. When calling them from a PowerBuilder 5 applicaton the reports error out. Have tried using the CRPE32.DLL for CR7/CR8. The CR ODBC connects to an Oracle database using the CROR7/CROR8 drivers. Any suggestions other than upgrading the PowerBuilder application to 32-bit.

The current PB app is using CR6 reports being accessed using API calls.
Thanks in advance.

What is the error.
Does the app work fine with CR6 reports?
If you use the CR8 OCX, can you still run the CR6 reports?

Ken, The errors start with Cannot find sstree16.dll, after replacing that dll than I get out of memory errors. I can open the (old)reports using the PB application, but after opening them using CR8 and saving them as CR8 reports the errors start.

You can't run V8 reports with the V6 environment you currently have in the app.
Can you get the V8 environment into the app? First see if the V6 reports run OK. If you can, you should also be able to run V8 reports from the app. Ken Hamady
