Has anyone played with OpenHAB? What do you do with it? How does it work? Is it voice activated?

I remember a LONG time ago (70's) a speech-controlled home automation project called Breslin.

WAY ahead of its time. Is OpenHAB anything like that?

I'm really wanting something self-contained, speech recognition, not cloud-based or internet dependent.

I haven't, but I have tried many other helpful resources to play other games. I heard it is quite comfortable to use. My friend is going to install it soon, so I'll share the feedback when he does it.

I'm a little confused about what playing games has to do with home automation and OpenHAB. :D
