Opendocument sometimes asking for login

Using custom .net app to login to infoview, get the token, document id, etc, in the usual manner, every now and then the CMS asks for login info saying the token was no good, restarting CMS usually fixes this, for a while, then in recurs intermittently. I've seen this on 2 servers (Win 2003 Enterprise) Ideas?
