Heres the problem:

We have in place a Trakker system that uses Intermec 2414 Scanners using OpenAir to talk to a AP.

We would like to install wireless Web Cameras in the same area that the bar code scanners are running.

Is there to much overlap in the freq. for this to work?
We have not tested anything cuse it is still in developement. Any and All idea will be greatfull. Many of use here to note know much about wireless, but always ready to learn.

Depends on what frequeny the scanners xmit at , if it's at 2.4 mhz then it's likely you will have a problem as that is what all current wireless AP's, routers run at . If they run on some other frequency that is not near 2.4 then it shouldn't be a problem .

Thanks, yea the scanners run at 2.4 go figure.

Because 2.4 ghz is an open part of the spectrum.

You should not have an issue I believe. The OpenAir are FHSS devices, and you likely will use DSSS 802.11b devices with your cameras.
