open word from access97 with a document

Can someone help me with this problem as I can get word to open but it will not open the document

I am using a single shell command to load a document from the network
Call Shell("winword \\citrix01\style\SHTG.doc", 1)

Hmm. Your code seems to work OK when I use a local document (eg. C:\test.doc). I presume you've tested the above with a local document. Are you getting any error message when you try opening the network document ?
