Open with window on desktop

I have a problem with the open with window appearing
on my desk top when I boot up. The file to open is
MGAPDX64.DLL. This is a graphics file.I have tried to
delete it, but it interfers with the quality.

How can I prevent the open with window appearing on the
desktop?

Go to Start/Run, type msconfig, click OK, click Startup, and look for an item in the list that has this file's name in it.
If it's there, then uncheck its box, click OK, and restart the computer.

If there's no item with the file's name, then do a virus search.

If no virus is found, then d/l Ad-aware, and remove any spyware.

Good advice ski! I'll bet it is one of those little display changers that your graphics card installed when you updated or reinstalled the drivers. Not necessary to have running. After all, how often do you change the display settings?
